Meet the team!
Jackie Colchester, founder & lead teacher
Punk Me Up, The Half Moon, John Harvard Library, The Bosco Centre
Les Petits Tigres was founded by Jackie Colchester to promote early years language learning and French culture in South London. Jackie has a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies and a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages. She has taught in schools and privately in America, France and England. A creative and enthusiastic practitioner, she is passionate about language learning and feels that you’re never too young (or old!) to start. Jackie is a mother of one and started Les Petits Tigres singing sessions as a way to enhance her child’s learning and to share her love of French language and culture with others. Music is one of the most effective and natural means of language acquisition, not to mention lots of fun!
Anne-Claire Marsaud, teacher
Greenwich West Community Center, The Telegraph Hill Centre
Anne-Claire came to London over ten years ago and has been living here ever since. As a native French speaker and a parent who wanted to ensure that her son learned French, she started attending Les Petits Tigres with her young baby. Looking to make a change in career and do something that fits her family lifestyle and is aligned with her values, Anne-Claire has joined Jackie and Monsieur le Tigre teaching French to even more families in a fun and friendly environment.
